Breakfast Energy Smoothie
Need that added boost to start your day, this “Energy Smoothie” will definitely do the trick. It is packed with vitamins, minerals and fibre to help sustain the energy required, for your morning run, the gym, and a long day ahead. It’s quick, refreshing and extremely easy to prepare.
2 Ripe bananas
2 Stalks of celery
1 Cup of frozen blueberries
1 Cup of frozen strawberries
1 Diced apple ( prefferably green)
1 Cup of fresh kale
1 Tbsp of chia or flax seeds
1/2 Cup of water or Almond Milk (optional)
Blend all ingredients listed above, until a thick consistency is formed. You may add water if the smoothie becomes too thick. Pour in a glass and you are all done.
