My Jamaican Food Experience
Vacationing in Jamaica is always an awesome experience. From the beautiful and exotic locations, to the absolutely mouth-watering cuisine, Jamaica always leaves you coming back for more. On this trip, I ventured out to places like Fort Clarence Beach and Little Ochi Seafood Restaurant in St. Elizabeth, Puerto Seco Beach,as well as stopping by other hotspots in Kingston like Devon House and Cafe Blue in the famous Blue Mountains.
Had this delicious “Power Salad” at Fromage in Kingston
My favorite part about going to Jamaica, besides hanging out with my “besties”, is the culture and the multicultured inspired foods. The island’s abundance of naturally grown fruits; like watermelon, pineapples, guavas and plums are always within reach, no mater where you are on the island.
The mixture of authentic flavours from Jamaican, French, Spanish and, even Indian cuisines, is also something, you can only find in “The Land Of Wood And Water”. Here are some of dishes I sampled this summer in Jamaica.
I also had steamed Bammy, Jerk and Steamed Fish at Little Ochi, St Elizabeth :
Also enjoyed this Coconut Curry Shrimp with Coconut Rice
My favorite deserts were my Passion Fruit Cheesecake and Bluemountain Coffee at Cafe Blue
Overall I will give my food experience to Jamaica 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🇯🇲
