I love this saying. I learnt it from my mother, who learnt it from her mother. It is a necessary reassurance for me when I see so much injustice taking place in our world.
None of us are perfect, but some people are simply outrageous and enjoy making others miserable. There is no way of explaining or stopping the evil that is taking root in our society today. The messaging from our world leaders and people in authority has become more and more ruthless and inhumane.
If you look at things on the surface you may feel like all the “bad people” are succeeding. I don’t know about that. What I do know is, we should not be despaired by the negative behavior of others. If you are being mistreated at work, in a relationship, or a marriage, it won’t last forever. The truth is nothing lasts forever, because ” You can do all that you want, but not for as long as you want.
