Today the queens and I discussed “Digital Dating”. If you were fortunate enough to have found your life partner or soul mate online, you were ahead of the game. Most of us are catching up. Psychology Today estimates that by the year 2040 70 % of couples will meet online. Therefore, if you are not a believer in this new approach to finding love, and you are still single, you may want to listen to this podcast.
The one thing we are all certain of in this life is change. And as we said in a prior episode technology is simply facilitating the change in mankind’s behavior and their emerging needs. You may prefer to meet your man or woman the traditional way, but unfortunately, there are some traditions that are becoming obsolete. Would you still use a typewriter today instead of your laptop? My point is, if you have been unsuccessful finding love at church, or in the club, that maybe due to the fact that many great dating candidates are using technology to address their love needs. My advice is, if you are trying to catch fish, you can only catch fish where there is water, not on land. From what I heard from some of these ladies, the fish (aka men) are mostly making themselves available via dating Apps and dating sites. So you have to go where the fish is swimming to set your bait! Get ready to swipe ladies. This one is for you.I hope you enjoy this video podcast, as much as we enjoyed taping it. Take a look at our podcast below and the bios for our commentary panel:
