Favorite Summer Food, Snacks and Drinks

After a long winter, I look forward to the summer heat, the summer fashion, and the summer food and drinks. I am a huge fan of summer snacks! To be clear, all snacks are not bad. Summer is my favorite time of year for snacking. Bedsides, I can usually walk and run off the extra calories as the weather is so great.

We can all make healthy food choices this summer by resisting high-calorie, processed snacks or food. Instead, we can choose seasonal foods and stay away from processed sugars. This will help you maintain a healthy body and mind.

Watermelon and Corn on the cob

Watermelon is a summer favorite. It can be used with cucumber, mint, and arugula to make an amazing salad. Grilled and boiled corn is a summer staple. This goes well with any poultry or fish.

HOMEMADE HUMMUS

Hummus is a healthy, low calorie favorite. It is simple and easy to make. It can be a part of a meal or a snack. It goes well with chips or veggies like carrots, celery, and bell peppers. Here is the simple recipe:

REAL FRUIT POPSICLESThere is nothing more enjoyable than an ice-cold popsicle during the hot summer days.
These frozen treats are very easy to make once you have popsicle shapers. They can be made from any fresh fruits or juices, like strawberries, mangoes, and blueberries.

They are summer favorites for both adults and children.

FAVORITE SUMMER FRUITS

FROZEN GRAPES
Have you ever snacked on frozen grapes? In particular, green grapes. Green frozen grapes are absolutely delicious. Frozen grapes provide a cool sweet treat that can replace high fat calories desserts like ice cream. I am sure this can also be done with other fruits such as strawberries, watermelons, and pineapple, just to name a few. They can also replace ice cubes in your alcohol drinks.
