Memorial Weekend in Atlanta was “poppin” . One of our favorite events was the Atlanta Jazz festival, held at Piedmont Park. Apparently, everyone had the same plans because, it took us an hour to get a park!
The festival was hosted by the city of Atlanta and as such, admission was free. (Nice!) We saw performances from artists like, Chrisette Michelle, Rhonda Ross and Rodney Kendrick, Alicia Olatuja, among others.
Overall, it was a weekend of festivals in Atlanta, and all the Georgia peaches came out to play. Piedmont park was filled with food vendors and other artisans.
The corn dog was my favorite!
